A powerful transaction and data capture terminal used as the heart of the Taxinet Fleet Manager system.

  • At the end of each taxi shift, the terminal transfers full pay-in information to the Driver smart card
  • Driver smart cards can store more than 16 standard shifts
  • Terminal memory can store more than 16 standard shifts
  • Terminal memory is non-volatile and does not require battery back-up

When connected to a Schmidt taximeter the TX-1000 Taxinet Terminal automatically captures and stores the details of every fare registered on the meter including the time-elapsed and distance traveled between fares. At the end of the shift this information is electronically transferred to the Schmidt Driver Card.

The Schmidt Driver Card may then be inserted into another TX-1000 Taxinet Terminal connected to the fleet manager’s computer running Taxi Fleet Pro software. This will enable all the shift information stored on the card to be electronically transferred to the computer. This data is analysed by Taxi Fleet Pro software to produce comprehensive reports on fleet and driver activity.
